My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Nia, she is back in our care, unfortunately it wasnt working in the household she was in. She is about 7 yrs old, Pomeranian mix. Nia is a sweet girl who feels like she has to protect her people. She came from a home that cared for her but that's all. She never went on walks or played with toys. She loves to be with other dogs her size. Nia loves her crate as well and she is so loving and just wants to be with a person. She is great on walks, plays with toys and loves being brushed. She had to get a hair cut because her fur was too matted, but she still enjoys to be brushed. Nia does need some work with strangers coming into her house, as she feels like she has to protect it.

Adoption fees include: Spay or Neuter, All vaccinations are up to date, and a microchip. If you have current pets we do allow a two week trial period for $50. This allows us to make sure that the animal will fit in with the resident animals.

We will be checking in with you after the first week, and are available for support through the entire process. During these two weeks, we will work with you to facilitate training sessions if necessary, necessary appointments for your rescue animal, and address any questions / concerns you may have. More about this rescue

Countryside Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, No-Kill animal rescue center. In an animal's eyes, love is unconditional. Too often their love is taken advantage of, leaving hundreds of animals abused, neglected and discarded. Countryside Animal Rescue is here for those
animals to rescue and heal. When ready for a new home, we place each animal in the best suitable, forever home and educate the humans about responsible pet ownership.
