Meet Perry!
Perry is a 1-year-old Toy Poodle with a heart full of love, and he’s ready to find his forever family! This affectionate little guy gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, and he’s searching for a home with a confident, playful dog companion who can show him the ropes.
Perry is incredibly sweet, smart, and gentle. Although a bit shy at first, he quickly warms up and will steal your heart with his love of cuddling. Whether he’s curled up on your lap or being carried in a bag, Perry is the ultimate “purse dog” who adores being close to his humans. He’s intuitive and eager to please, especially when food is involved!

He’s currently working on basic commands like “sit,” “down,” “turn,” “stay,” and “come,” and he’s making impressive progress. He also loves squeaky toys and playing fetch, bringing the ball back like a pro!
Perry walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys a brisk stroll to the park. Afterward, he’s happy to relax and nap near his foster or chew on his favorite bone. He’s housebroken and lets his foster know when he needs to go out, either by taking out his leash or giving a little whimper. He thrives on a consistent schedule and sleeps soundly through the night, though some adjustment may be needed in a new home.

Perry is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready to meet his perfect match. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will blossom in a loving environment, Perry is the one for you!

More about this rescue

We have a passion for senior animals. To be able to save an animal from dying alone in a shelter, to give it a chance to live out its last days/months/years in a home with the proper care and love it deserves, instead of a cold shelter, is what drives us to keep going.

We obviously have financial needs that come with rescuing senior dogs, so we will be rescuing puppies and younger dogs as well so we are able to care for our seniors.
