My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lucian, Minecraft, Ponos, Horkos and Seven. An adorable litter of kittens who joined Murci's Mission after being found living in a window well. The family has been working hard to help them learn to trust and love humans, as this is all new to them! The kittens have an estimated birthday of 7/10/2024.

They are so cute and playful and enjoy chasing toy balls around the room. The kittens have been around dogs, and are a bit nervous. They have been around a 5 year old who is quite mellow and will let him hold and cuddle them. The ideal home would be one that is willing to patient with them as they adjust to their new environment as it could be a little scary for them!

The kittens will all be spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines before adoption. The adoption fee is $100 for a single, or the same price for a pair. They will come with a sample of their food as well as all of their medical records! Thanks for considering these sweeties!

Adopters in the Spokane area can expect to meet the pet during the homecheck. Others will arrange a meet and greet.

Once your application has been received, we will evaluate it as a potential match for the given animal and, if your application is selected, we will proceed to call your references and then conclude with a home check and meet and greet scheduled by you at your home. For applicants out of area, the home check may be conducted via video call before the meet and greet.

More about this rescue

From the day we could talk we told our pets more than we ever told our parents. We took the long route to see the kitty in the window down the street. We stopped even when we were late to pet the dog. We grew up and we saw what the world does to those who can't defend themselves. We are here to change that.

Ethical rescue, including fully vetting every animal and carefully placing them all into homes matched to their physical and mental needs is what we do.

Respecting all life, both animal and human, while retaining an underlying goal of keeping animals in their homes. and fostering a sense of community between local shelters and rescues is how we do it.
