Hey there! I’m Bunny, the ultimate good girl and soon-to-be your best friend. If you’re looking for a loyal companion, look no further—I'm basically a fluffy shadow who loves sticking by your side.

I've got the basics down—know my commands, and I’m a dream on a leash. I’ve been around town and handle it like a pro. Plus, I’m house trained and will let you know when I need to go outside.

I get along with everyone—other dogs, even the tiny ones, and believe it or not, pigs too! I love playing with my foster sisters and sometimes check in on the pigs just to make sure they’re still pigs.

I’ve got a thing for TV, though I’m not a fan of cats on screen. I don't know what I’d think of them in real life, but we can find out together!

So far, I haven’t met any small kids, but I’m open to new experiences.

When I’m not lounging on the couch, I love a good romp outside. I’ve got medium energy levels, so a yard to play in or regular walks would be perfect for me.

My favorite toys? Tennis balls, nylabones, and basically anything my foster sisters are playing with. I’m pretty good at respecting their space, even when it comes to toys.

I’m ready to bring all my love into someone’s home and be the perfect addition to your family. Will it be yours?

GHGSDR holds Meet and Greets @ several Petco stores in the Houston area each month, usually from 1pm to 4pm. Check our homepage for locations and dates.

On our homepage we list the names of the dogs that are expected to be at the event - check 1 or 2 days before the event.

More about this rescue

GHGSDR volunteers are dedicated to saving as many German Shepherds in the Greater Houston Metro area as humanly possible - based on current resources of available foster homes, the rate at which we can find suitably matched adoptive homes, and of course, financial resources for veterinary care.

GHGSDR Shepherds mostly come from animal shelters where they are awaiting euthanasia. All of these Shepherd Dogs need loving, forever homes and families to call their own. We have several GSDs available for adoption and we regularly take in more Shepherds under our wings and into our Rescue Program, increasing the numbers of dogs available for adoption. Whenever we can, we also work with other dog rescue groups in Texas and nationwide to help ensure the safety and security of these wonderful animals.
