Kerfuffle is an 11-pound, 10-year-old Yorkie mix with a heart full of love to give. Though he’s a bit scared and cautious right now, with patience and kindness, Kerfuffle will warm up to you on his own terms. Once he trusts you, this sweet little guy will keep your lap warm and your hands busy because he loves to be held and adores belly rubs. He’s also a great snuggler and will keep you entertained with his charming personality. Kerfuffle needs a patient and loving home that can give him the time he needs to adjust and feel safe. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to share your life with, Kerfuffle could be the perfect match for you.

PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida. All adoption fees go to help all the dogs in the rescue, some of which require extensive medical care. Thank you for caring for the greater good. FIRST step is to fill out a pre adoption application (www.polkadogz.org). We check vet references, personal references and do home visits before adopting any pet. We also help match the right pet to the right home. All current pets in household must be spayed/neutered and on heartworm prevention (very important)
Adoption fees help us support all the dogs in our rescue, some of which cost thousands in medical bills. Thank you for caring about the greater good!

More about this rescue

We strive to educate the public on responsible pet ownership. We rescue many dogs with heartworms, injuries nad those who have been victims of severe neglect and/or abuse. Maverick is a perfect example. He is paralyzed and we work daily with him to hopefully help him walk again.
