Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie is such a sweet black panther with his tuxy markings. He may be shy at first but once he warms up he is all about playing, all the cuddles and hanging with his buddies in foster. He is SUCH a sweetie!

Charlie was a transfer from Madison Heights Animal Control and is absolutely loving life in foster with this buddies. He is looking for a home with a buddy so he has someone to cuddle and play with.

Submit Application

Once you submit an application, one of our dedicated adoption volunteer coordinators will contact you.

Meet the Pet

Some of our kitties are in foster homes and about 40 are at our shelter. So be patient! We may have to schedule a visit at a foster home.

3.
Approve Application

The volunteer adoption coordinator will call your veterinary reference and your personal references. Video home visit too!

At any given time, Ferndale Cat Shelter has at least 150-250 cats and kittens in our care. Most of those kitties are in foster homes while 40-50 may be at our shelter. We love to make the purrfect match for you so you and your kitty will live long and healthy lives together.
