Boba is a very easy going and is motivated by affection. She seems to prefer dry food over wet food (or maybe that’s the agreement she has made with Beans, when fresh food is placed down for them). She loves lots of pets and at times will be your best lap kitty. After 3 days in the foster home, she started to jump up on the dresser, walk up the front of the foster with her two front legs, and give hugs. Both in the adoption center and in the foster home, she is a big fan of jumping on the back of the human bending over to switch out food/water bowls or clean the litterboxes. She has a very curious personality and loves to keep busy. Her games of choice is swirly toys and furry stuffed animals. She loves to bat ping pong balls back and forth with her sister or the human in the room. She is confident and doesn’t get spooked by much. She plays well alone or with others. She loves to solve food puzzles and will share her winnings. She has a very good temperament and is very well adjusted. She would love to be adopted with her sister Beans.
Beans is a sweet cat who is food motivated. She prefers wet food over the dry food. She loves to snack and sleep. She is very athletic and loves to play with jumping toys, but loves cardboard boxes more. She should be monitored with the cardboard boxes, as she likes to chew on them too. Beans loves to bird watch and watch ASMR videos on YouTube. She may be slow to touching and being held, but once she is comfortable she will come to you to snuggle, get head and neck scratches and eventually will allow you to give her belly rubs as she rolls over the place. She is a bit skittish, so she doesn’t like loud noises or sudden movements. She will be ok with picking her up, if you support her whole body. She would love to be adopted with her sister Boba.
These two bonded sisters are the gentlest, sweetest, quietest cats their foster has come across in years. They show zero aggression when the resident cat hisses on the other side of the closed door. Their meows are so quiet, they sound like kittens (unless they are in a car). They have excellent litterbox behavior. They are climbers and chasers, so they would need a home that would provide space to run and climb.
