Meet Rosco, a four-year-old mix with a gorgeous smile that's sure to light up your life! This goofball was an owner surrender due to his protective tendencies, but he's ready to find his forever home and share his playful spirit.

Rosco is kennel trained, house trained, and polite on a leash. He gets along great with large dogs but isn't a fan of small dogs or cats. While he might be shy with new people at first, he warms up quickly and loves to play. He enjoys walks, sniffafaris, and would make an excellent running or hiking partner. Rosco has a special love for water and can’t get enough of it!

I've had no reaction to other dogs passing by, joggers, or even people on bikes – I'm just a chill guy who enjoys life to the fullest! I'm a true gentleman with incredibly soft fur, and I can't resist getting pets and cuddles from my favorite humans. If you're lucky, I might sneak in a kiss or two because I'm a big softie at heart!

My manners are impressive – I take my food and treats very gently, proving that I'm a true gentleman in every way. I also have a quirky habit of putting my head out the window and pretending to catch bugs in the air – it's so much fun, you should try it too!

Once you submit the application the rescue will review, and if it's been approved you will be contacted to come meet the pet.

Additional adoption info

After meeting the pet, we do a home check, then we do foster to adopt for a week to ensure a good fit the adopters get 2 free training sessions in home after adoption, but trainer comes 1day also. Most of my dogs are on a breed restricted list so house is most likely a requirement, if they are renters I'll need to speak to landlords. Fees for 1yr- senior is 100-200$.
