Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This handsome guy was found running loose on the highway and never claimed by an owner. He was brought to us from animal control after his 7-day hold. We estimate he is around one year old because he is very bouncy and puppy-like. Since he was found as a stray, we know nothing about his past, but he has been a very well-behaved pup while in our care, and our volunteers love to walk him. He keeps his kennel clean, so we believe he is fully housetrained. He also walks nicely on a leash and appears to like other dogs. Tehoka will be neutered and updated on his vet care on August 19th.
We are accepting applications for him now.
If you are interested in adopting a dog, please fill out our dog adoption application here: http://medfieldshelter.com/adopt. Our adoption fee for dogs ages 7 months â 7 years is $500. Dogs 8 years and up are $250. Every dog we place is vaccinated, wormed, treated for ticks/fleas, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We send each dog home with a collar and leash.
With very few exceptions, dogs are happiest and the most well-behaved when they receive daily exercise and ongoing training, so we always prefer to place our dogs with families who are willing to make a commitment to both.
All adoption meetings are by appointment only as we only have two employees. Our manager or one of our volunteers will be happy to set up an appointment for you to come meet the pets, but please fill out the adoption application first.
