For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
This little she-dragon flew into EHS with her recently adopted mom and two siblings.
Despite her fiery name, she's actually a sweet, gentle tortie who loves to play, explore, and eat treats. She's a bit shy around people but a wand toy or a laser pointer encourages her to play and become bolder. Naturally curious, every day brings a new adventure for Syrax, and she's grown more confident as she expands her horizons. Now she's ready to take on the world with a loving forever family by her side.
Please note: kittens, like Syrax, have lots of energy!!! They require ample and mindful stimulation, through play, from their humans. Their optimal development also benefits tremendously from having a four-legged companion in the home to socialize with. So, we would prefer that Syrax go to a home where there is already a feline-friendly cat or dog in residence or be adopted with another compatible shelter animal.
Want to take to the sky with Syrax? Apply today before it's too late! -------------------- The adoption fee for a single cat at EHS is $175. Take home an adult feline friend for your kitty and the adoption fee for the pair is $300! For kittens under six months of age, the adoption fee is $200...Or double your cuteness quotient and adopt two wee furballs for $350! If you mix and match (kitten plus cat), the adoption fee is $300. Each of our cats is spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, snap tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. -------------------- Interested in adopting Syrax? It's easy! Just click "Adopt a Cat" on the EHS website (etobicokehumanesociety.com) and fill out our "Cat Adoption Form." An EHS representative will be pleased to help.
