The big handsome man is looking for his forever home. He loves to play and would love a fully fenced backyard to spend time with his people. Due to his size, he is eligible to an adult only home. He may do well in a home with another dog with the proper introductions however cannot go to a home with cats and other small critters due to his prey drive. He is a big snuggle bug and can`t wait to meet his new humans.

Adoptable pets are now available through Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS)

Go meet their pets

Effective March 1, 2021 AARCS began a pilot to manage pet adoption services for The City of Calgary. The goal is to reduce the time adoptable pets spend sheltered, for the overall welfare of the animals. AARCS has an extensive fostering network, which increases the opportunity for animals to be cared for in homes, instead of shelters, while they wait for their new family. Animal Services will continue to carry out medical and dental care and spay and neuters for adoptable animals before they are transported to AARCS for adoption or fostering. https://aarcs.ca/adoptable-animals/
