Happy, Friendly, Expert Biscuit-Maker

We Are 138 adores people! He will start a fresh batch of biscuits as soon as he sees you! He loves a good scratch at the base of his tail and will give you an elevator butt to show you how much he enjoys it.

When he's not making biscuits, he likes to window-gaze and play with little fish toys. He peacefully coexists with his foster's calm female cat. He's not as sure about her male cat, but they just stay away from each other. He hangs out with his foster's 8-month-old Lab, and will gently bop the puppy on his nose when he wants his space.

We Are would be a fun, chill companion. He'd be fine as a solo cat, and would probably be fine with another calm, cat-friendly pet.

We Are has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. He can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.

Using the provided contact form here or on the APA! website, you can send an inquiry on the animal(s) you are interested in.

Step three:
Our adoption team will connect you to the foster home or someone at the shelter location where the animal is currently living to learn more about the animal and potentially set up a visit!

Step four:
After meeting the animal you would like to adopt, instructions for completing the adoption paperwork, scheduling an appointment, and picking up your new family member will be shared with you!
