My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Capri is a grey and white Pit Bull Terrier Mix, who came to us with 2 others, from Lee County Domestic Animal Services due to limited space. Capri is the sweetest girl; though a little shy. She warms up to women a bit quicker than men and gives the best hugs. She will steal your heart. She is searching for her furever home, so if you think that can be with you, don't hesitate.

Why not complete an application and schedule an appointment to meet this sweet girl today?

My ideal home:
I'm looking for a younger, active home to love me forever...
I'm good with:

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
