My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name's Andrew, what's yours???

I'm a handsome shepherd mix, and I'm looking for a new family who will love and spoil me for the rest of my life.

I was found as a stray and taken to a place called animal control to wait for my family to come find me. Unfortunately they never came, so now I'm at Heal Animal Rescue waiting for a new family to adopt me!

I'm a friendly boy, and I love getting attention from the people here at the shelter. I enjoy going for walks, and they say I have pretty good leash manners!

I can be a bit dog selective, so if you have dogs at home already we would need to meet to see how we would get along.

I'm already neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and I also have a microchip. All that I need now is YOU to adopt me!

More about this shelter

The Animal Friends of Westmoreland is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless, abandoned and abused dogs and cats. It depends on donations, sponsorships and other tangible support from local residents and businesses.

Our vision is a self sustaining, no-kill shelter which will house the animals until they find their forever home. Additionally, it is our goal to breed awareness, stimulate education and inspire the public to become animal advocates.

The Animal Friends of Westmoreland is a voice for those that cannot speak. Join us in speaking for those that need us most . . . the animals.
