My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name's Claire....will you be my new best friend??

I'm a 2 year old cur mix, and I'm looking for a special new family who will help me learn that the world isn't a scary place.

I was brought to the shelter by my owner who was older and could no longer care for me. In my former home I led a very sheltered life, and never really left the house. In fact, my ride to the shelter was only my second time riding in the car.

Because I didn't have a lot of socialization in my last home I take some time to get to know new people, especially men. With a little time and patience I start to come out of my shell and am a very affectionate and playful girl!

I didn't live with other dogs in my last home, but here at the shelter I'm very interested in making friends with the other dogs! So I might like having a doggie sibling in my new home!!!

I'm up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and I also have a microchip.

My new family will need to be patient with me and I learn more about the world, in return I promise to give you all the unconditional love I have for the rest of my life!
