BASICS: Cane Corso / male / 4 years old

CHILDREN: Yes, older than 12; kids should have previous experience/training with giant dogs

CATS: Unknown

DOGS: Female dogs over 50lbs, with slow introduction and supervision

PERSONALITY: Medium energy level; Cautious with new people but warms up; Enjoys napping in the sun, exploring outdoors in the yard, and getting treats.

TRAINING: Housebroken, leash trained, knows basic obedience and how to use a dog door

SPECIAL NEEDS: Roo’s life before rescue was pretty rotten: when he was seized by Animal Control, he was so skinny that he barely weighed 80lbs. Even though his physical condition is greatly improved, Roo can be a little nervous and standoffish with people until he feels 100% sure that they’re safe. His perfect forever family should understand this about him and continue to work with him to slowly build his confidence.

VETTING: Fully vaccinated, neutered, heartworm negative, microchipped
