My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sage is such a little sweetheart! She is quite the cuddler and loves kids and adults. She is great with other dogs and likes cats. She walks well on a leash and keeps a clean kennel at the shelter. She just loves to be loved!

Sage is part of the Best Chance Dog Training Program at the nearby correctional facility. She knows how to sit, stay, lay down, army crawl, roll over, and she can pick which closed hand has the treats in them! She is amazing!

From Sage`s handler/trainer: My name is Sage and I am a young adult. Like all young dogs, I love to run and play, especially with other dogs. When I`m tired, I like to find a safe place to sleep but where I can watch over you and make sure you are safe too. I love to take long walks with the people I love, which is almost everyone I meet. I know how to sit, lay down, and roll over. I am getting better on not jumping on people and I am doing really well. I am a kind and sweet dog who loves to give kisses, if allowed. I like playing fetch and chasing balls. I am kennel trained and I am housebroken and clean. I also enjoy eating food, dog and human food (if allowed) and I like chewing on bones and other chew toys. I am looking for a loving and forever home. Will you help me?
