Meet Mabel!

Mabel is just under a year old, Fiv/felv negative, utd on shots, microchipped and spayed. She was found in horrible conditions living on the streets of Paterson where she had to constantly defend herself and her brother from harm. You can imagine how scared they both were. Because of her rough start, she is still on alert with humans and it takes her a minute to warm up. But once she does, she is super sweet and purrs like crazy!

Mabel does well with female cats. A slow introduction would be best as with the introduction of any animal. Because she is unsure of people at first we recommend a home with older teens and no small children. She is still learning to trust us as far as picking her up as well and unfortunately little kids just want to hold their pets. She still needs time for that.

The animals that require the most work are the most rewarding at the end. Will you give Mabel a chance at a happy life?
