Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Green Lantern is a handsome fella who will be the light of your life if you choose him. He is a sweetheart that stands up on his kennel with his ears back and soft eyes begging you to come in his kennel and sit with him. He's full grown at 65 lbs and we are guessing he's likely an American Bulldog and pitbull mix? Probably a few other breeds in there too. Green lantern has been good with other dogs and loves people. We imagine he will love the kids too. Green Lantern is estimated to be around 3 years old. Great age, still young and playful but old enough to hold his bladder through the night and past the constant puppy stage.
Green Lantern has meet some friends at the shelter and he has dog tested well. We have found he’s a bit of a baby with more pushy dogs and will lay down and submit over getting upset when they get to be too much.
He’s met a 3 Lb puppy and was gentle with her and another 6-month-old puppy his size along with several other adult dogs and did well with them. What we noticed is he is the kind of guy that wants to talk first, really get to know who they are as a dog before he commits to playing with them.
Green Lantern's adoption fee is $225, he is vaccinated, dewormed, flea & tick treated, heartworm negative, and will be microchipped and scheduled for neuter upon adoption. You can apply online for them at https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=sr2794&method=online_form_html&formid=21 OR stop in to the shelter 12- 5 pm Tuesday through Friday or 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday to meet who is available at that time. Please arrive no later than 30 minutes before we close to ensure we have time to do the adoption.
Take advantage of our foster-to-adopt program, where you can take any dog 4 mos and older home for a week to make sure it is a good fit before committing to adoption
