Tyler is a gentle soul with a heart as big as his reserved demeanor. This shy and thoughtful feline prefers to observe from a safe distance, taking his time to warm up to new faces and situations. He may initially be a bit standoffish, but underneath his cautious exterior lies a deep well of affection just waiting to be discovered.

Tyler enjoys quiet corners and soft, cozy spots where he can curl up and watch the world go by. With patience and gentle encouragement, he reveals his true self: a loving companion who appreciates the calm moments and quiet companionship. He is up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, combo tested negative, and neutered!

Please view our pets on line then call to make an appointment to come meet pets. Walkins are allowed as well.

Some dogs will undergo a home check if a fence is required. If there is a lot of interest in a particular dog we will take multiple apps.

Additional adoption info

We require an in-person application for all dogs and cats. A home visit will be required for larger dogs, who require a fenced in yard. Our animals are only adopted out after they have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Our adoption fees are $90 for cats and $110+ for dogs. Puppies are $130. Cash, check, credit or debit card are all accepted. Sometimes the fee will be higher for a dog, if it is a purebred. We would like to keep our adoptions local; in the event the adoption does not work out, the animal must come back to us. Adopters must sign an agreement to this effect. We do consider out of state adopters, please phone us before coming. We are a private rescue. Please be patient if we take a little time to respond.

Those adopting a cat must bring a carrier to transport the cat home safely.

The Bridge Home No Kill Animal Rescue is located at 2061 Highway 75 in Blountville, TN. We are close to the Tri-Cities Airport. We are taking appointments for people to come see animals. We are closed Sunday and Monday. Appointments are scheduled for Tuesday through Friday noon to 4:30 and Saturday noon to 4:00. Please call us to schedule. We are a 501(c)3 organization. Our mission is to rescue homeless as well as owner released cats and dogs, whose owners can no longer care for them due to difficult circumstances. We give these animals a place to live with compassion, dignity and hope as we work to find our cats and dogs new loving homes.
