My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Felon is in a foster home and not living at the kennel**

Be prepared, Felon will steal your heart and possibly your place on the couch too. He is willing to share with anyone though.

What a hunk of love Felon is! He is about to steal your heart. Felon's birthday is October 19, 2018 and he weighs approximately 73 pounds. Through no fault of his own, Felon has found himself back at the rescue after being adopted from us as a puppy, due to family medical issues. He is grieving his family and hoping to find his forever family very soon. Felon is well-mannered, playful and connecting, what a sweetie! The cutest thing ever is he does a nice sit pretty for treats and also does a happy dance when meeting new people. He just loves tennis balls (really any ball) too and easily relinquishes them. Felon loves cuddling, playing ball or tug, chewing bones and watching out the window. He is afraid of staircases and really wants to chase the outside kitties. Felon was a year old when his human brother was born and did exceptionally well with him. They were best of friends. Felon's foster home has three kids ages 11, 13 and 14. He is wonderful with the kids and all visitors. Children age 8 and older would be the best fit for a gentleman like Felon.

Felon was raised with a female and male dog whom he lived with for 5 years. He is currently in a home with two female dogs. He initially wanted to mount them but they told him no, so he now enjoys simply stacking with the girls (if you own a bully mix, you know). Any dogs in the home will need an introduction prior to adoption.

Felon sleeps through the night, is crate trained and stands by the door to go potty outside. However, his foster family has missed a couple signals which has led to accidents in the home. These shall diminish as he becomes more regulated with a known schedule and the humans aware of his potty times. He does not mark the home.

Felon prefers to cuddle with the man of the house as he grew up being a daddy's boy. Although, he does love everyone equally.

If you are interested in Felon and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!
