Ruby is a little brindle mix weighing 38lbs and is approximately 1 to 2 years old. Ruby was brought to the rescue by a family who found her abandoned on their property. The finders cared for Ruby while trying to locate her owners without success. During the time she stayed with them, Ruby got along well with one of their dogs but not the other dog, so she may do best as the only dog in the home. Ruby is spayed, house trained, and up to date on her vaccines. If you sit with her in yard, she will often prop her front paws on your knees and ask with her eyes to climb in your lap, and next thing you know you’re scooping her up in your arms. Ruby is playful, loves going for walks, and is easy on a leash. There are so many things to recommend this sweet little gal to potential adopters, but so far she’s gone unnoticed at the shelter.
