Sweet Louisa! There's just something about her. On a regular basis, you hear staff members saying "I just love Louisa".
Louisa is so sweet and easy going. She plays well with others but is not super "in your face" about it. She just kind of hangs in the background and if others (human or dog) want to play with her, she plays, but if not, she's ok to just wander around the yard on her own.
Louisa's color is pretty stunning as well. She appears to be a black dog, but in some light she appears brown and in other light she appears to have a blue tint.
Because she is content to hang out in the background, Louisa is overlooked, so we want to draw some attention to her as she really is just a love of a dog.Adoption Hours are Thursday through Sunday from noon to 5pm. You do not need an appointment to come by and meet animals during adoption hours.

Our adoption process is based on making the right match. Though people can apply for a specific animal, we would like to know more about lifestyle and match a pet with that lifestyle. For example, we would not want to match an active dog with an inactive one. Therefore, our primary concern is the interview process and getting to know the potential adopter.
