My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Juice Box is a young and friendly cat looking for her forever home! She came into rescue heavily pregnant (which is how she got her name-she looked like a rectangular juice box) and had two kittens who she lovingly raised. Both kittens have been adopted and now it's time for Juice Box to find her own loving family! Juice Box does have FIV so she needs special care to monitor her health.

She loves playing with toys-wand toys, laser pointers, catnip mice, crinkle balls-anything she can get her paws on. She also really likes getting pets. If you stop petting her before she's ready, she'll gently tug on your sleeve or hand with her mouth. Because of this, she may make younger kids a little nervous and would do best in a home with older children only.

She does well with other cats and dogs with proper intros, so if you have a cat with FIV who needs a playmate, she would be perfect. Plus, she just had a dental cleaning!

Juice Box is fixed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations for their age.

More about this rescue

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
