My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome brindle boy is Sterling! He initially arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 8/9/2024, and no one came to reclaim him. Sterling is still a youngster and he'll need a patient and kind family to help guide him into adulthood. He's a little shy, but he warms up quickly and then you'll see his fun, playful side! He LOVES toys and treats! Sterling thought he had found his forever home when he was adopted but after 4 months he was returned. The family is expecting a human baby. They said Sterling is great with kids, especially small kids, good with other dogs, house and crate trained. Sounds like the perfect boy.

Sterling is approximately 1 year old, and he weighs 48 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested negative. Sterling is waiting in run 801; his ID # is 6305

You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER.
