Introducing Ebby
These adorable little nuggets, affectionately named the "wingless fruit bats," arrived from a loving but very, very overcrowded-with-doggos home. They were very timid and shy when they arrived, due to the chaos of their prior existence, and have really started to blossom during their time at the shelter. We think they will all make great companions for the right people, and can't wait to see them flourish in their new homes. Four of the first batch we've taken in from this family have already been adopted, and the four remaining are:
CRICKET - reddish chihuahua mix female, 8 months old, just under 8 pounds, good with other little dogs.
TRUFFLE - black & white chihuahua mix female, 4 years old, just under 12 pounds, good with other little dogs.
EBBY - black chihuahua/papillon mix female, 8 months old, smallest at about 5 pounds, good with other little dogs.
SPIKE - tan terrier mix male, 2 years old, just under 6 pounds, selective with other dogs, alpha, thinks he's a big bad-to-the-bone doggo (too cute). This cutie would look adorable in a tiny little studded black motorcycle jacket.
All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee is a suggested minimum of $125 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.
Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
