I've had Cormac for 5 1/2 years. He is an incredibly gentle, sweet dog. Despite being a malamute aussie mix he is very quiet and calm.
When we are at the house, he is content to ham out on the couch or his bed and mostly just lies around and sleeps. He loves car rides and hikes, though his limit on a hot summer day is about 6-8 miles.
I'm not sure if he's crate trained or not because he's never needed it - I just leave him out when I'm gone. He has lived with cats and other dogs before and is generally aloof once he gets used to them.
He'd be happiest as an inside dog in a home where he isn't alone all day, with a walk or two a day and the occasional hike. Otherwise he is a big couch potato. I am rehoming him because I am no longer able to properly care for him. He is such a good, good dog, and I just want him to have a loving, peaceful home.
