Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Penny. She is a super sweet dog and is deeply loved. Sadly she must find a new home because is is not a big fan of children. The current pet parents are heart broken to have to rehome her but they realize this is for the best.
She is a good girl. Can be loving and kind. A perfect home would be a place without small children or loud noise.
Penny have been up north now for 4-5 years so she is use to the environment. She has all her medical done and if you would like to meet her it can be arranged. Penny doesn’t have to be transported north for a meeting. She is truly a good girl! Nothing makes her happier than to bask in the glow of your tv at night next to her person. If you are an adult household and want a sweet girl look no further! Here she is !!!! Penny has about 10 years of life left easy. Anyone who adopts her will count themselves lucky once they get tk know her. She does not like loud spontaneous noise. Like firecrackers going off.
If you would like more info please let me know and I will get you with the pet parent.
RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please go to:

A potential adopter will submit an application. A vet reference is very helpful and will speed the adoption process along. Once approved, a phone interview will be conducted and the adopter will sign a contract. Transport will then be scheduled to bring the new pet home.
