My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

She is a sweet girl that is just a tiny bit shy at first, but does LOVE people. She loves to be pet and will give hugs. She does well with other dogs, but not cats. She does get very protective of her owners, so will need someone who can be consistent with her training and socialization. From what we are told, she knows some basic commands and is generally housetrained, with just an occasional potty accident. Bellalina also loves to play with toys.

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Come on down to meet our pets! They are cute on pictures, but they're better looking in person. Let them show off their best attributes.

2.

Interview

Tell us a little about yourself, your lifestyle and what you are looking for. We can help you find a good match.

3.

Meet the Pet

For dogs, we require a meet and greet with all the members of the household, including your current dogs to ensure our dog is a good match.

4.

Sign Adoption Contract

If you and our pet are a match, we can then complete the adoption.

5.

Pay Fee

Just a minor detail to complete the adoption. Make sure you bring cash or check only.

6.

Take the Pet Home

Once the contract is finalized, you can bring your new best friend home and show'em off to your friends and family.

Additional adoption info

We generally require a 6' fence or secure kennel area(some exceptions may be made depending on the dog) while they are outside (they can't be tethered). Make sure you bring pictures or video of your fence-in-yard with you standing next to the fence.

All the cats must be inside only pets.

If you rent, please make sure you bring a written consent from your landlord.

If an adoption doesn't work out the dog or cat is to be returned to CAPS.

Call to learn more about our Foster-to-Adopt program for puppies and kittens under 6 months. All dogs and cats are spayed or neutered and current on their shots.
