Midnight is a gentle kitty that enjoys lounging out on the screened area where she can watch everything going on in her house and outside. She is good with staff, volunteers, and even strangers. She also gets along great with all the other cats in her house and would not mind sharing her forever home with another kitty or two.

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
