Franny is an approximately 1.5 year old black and tan female. She is underweight at 61 pounds. We know little about her past as she came from a shelter.

Franny is housebroken with use of a dog door and sleeps nicely through the night in a crate. Franny can be timid when first meeting you, but warms up quickly. And she loves to play! She’ll bring you her ball and drop it at your feet just waiting for some fun!

Franny is currently living with a 5 year old male German Shepherd and they get along very well. Small dogs unknown. Play time is any time! Franny still displays puppy like behaviors, but is easily corrected. She loves walks and is learning not to pull in all the excitement.

Breakfast and dinner time are leisurely affairs. Franny is a slow, delicate eater. She will leave her bowl if another dog advances, so mealtime supervision is required.

She would love a home with another playful male dog, but could learn to live as an only dog. Regular exercise and formal training is recommended to make Franny the best companion to some lucky home.

She chases squirrels, so small animals are not recommended. Cats unknown.
