Normandy is a very sweet, medium-sized, black and tan male GSD approximately 5 years old. He weighs about 65 pounds. Norm has a beautiful, thick, soft, and shiny medium-length coat. He belongs in an 80's shampoo commercial. He has the sweetest, mild temperament, has great house manners, and uses a doggy door. He's had no accidents and has not been destructive whatsoever. He sleeps quietly in his foster parent's room, with all of his foster siblings.

Norm is a little shy at first, but warms up and will lean in for some love within a few minutes of meeting someone. He gets along great with the 3 large males, and 1 sassy female GSD in his foster home. He doesn't really engage in play with the others, but he coexists beautifully. He comes over to check in for a few pets then goes a lays quietly for a bit. As long as he has some companionship he could be an only dog or live nicely with some fur siblings. He's a very easy, turn-key dog. He has not been tested with small children but based on how easy he is to live with his foster mom thinks he might be good with respectful children. He does like to keep the squirrels out of the yard, so we're not sure about small critters.

Norm is a perfect first-time GSD gateway family dog, or he'll be a great companion for someone with a moderately active lifestyle who is willing to include him in their adventures.
