My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet, reserved, timid

Hi, my name is Mr.Brown (a.k.a. Brownie). I’m one handsome boy that you didn’t know you needed in your life until now. I am very reserved, quiet and on the timid side but I am an absolute sweetheart! I love being gently petted, loved on, and will be the perfect addition to anyone’s family. I have a very sweet meow. I’m around 6 years old, have excellent litter box habits, and I get along with other sweet cats and have lots of love to give. Until recently, I was living in an auto repair shop. I had some care but the conditions weren't the best for me. I am now living with my foster human while looking for a quiet home and for my forever family. I have embraced the indoors life, love my cozy bed and frequent meals. I am fully vetted: neutered, FIV&FeLV negative, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. I do need special diet to care of my skin and regular visits to the veterinarian. If you have experience caring for senior cats and are interested in adopting Mr.Brown or perhaps sponsor his special diet contact us at Adoptablecatshouston@gmail.com

More about this rescue

Adoptable Cats Houston is a non-profit organization committed to finding permanent homes for cats and kittens. Our cats were homeless strays or abandoned cats that were living in a colony that we manage. They live in foster homes where they are nurtured and receive the medical care they need. Our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and tested for FIV and FeLV prior to being adopted into responsible, stable, loving forever homes.

We are a team of cat lovers that volunteer to make a difference to the stray cats that cross our path.
