My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sierra, a young, sweet and gentle soul. Sierra is about 9-10 months old now and close to full grown at 35lbs. She looks like she could probably be a German Shepherd/Beagle mix. Her tender heart is filled with an abundance of love for everyone she meets, but she has a special fondness for children. She is mostly house trained and is the ideal size for a family pet. Sierra's gentle demeanor makes her a joy to be around. She's the kind of companion who will curl up at your feet after a long day, offering a comforting presence. Sierra is not just a pet, she's a friend, a confidante, a family member waiting to find her forever home. Adopting Sierra is not just about giving a home to a shelter pet, but about welcoming love, loyalty, and lifelong companionship into your life. The adoption fee is $150 for all dogs. The fee can be paid for by cash, check, and a credit card( a fee is charged for credit card payments). You can email maryhsow@gmail.com with any questions or fill out an application here: https://humanesocietyofwilkes.org/adopt/application/maryp. To ensure your application was received please email the foster home. You can expect an email response within a week of applying.
