Beautiful as an oak tree in fall, our Oakley is ready to go home with his forever family! Oakley has been fostered with one of his siblings and other dogs at his fosters, so will do well with other dogs, but would also do well as an only - keeping all the attention for himself! And with these gorgeous good looks, who could resist? Havanese are loving and attentive dogs, smart and ready for all sorts of adventures. Oakley won't be out on trail runs, but a nice walk to the coffee shop, or out to watch the kids soccer games, this handsome boy is here for all of it.
Oakley is a super special young pup, deserving a super special family who will understand that he may need to be on daily anti-seizure meds for the rest of his life. He suffered a few short seizures after a food change, and has not had any more in the month since. He has been returned to his recommended food and is under our Veterinarian supervision at this time, with daily meds. There is nothing this pup hasn't been able to do, he is loving, smart, sweet and just needs someone who can appreciate him as he is. We will consult further with qualified adopters.
Oakley will be adopted with a contract and deposit to ensure neuter by 6 months of age.

We are a committed group of dog lovers who have decades of experience in dog rescue, volunteering at animal shelters and owning rescue dogs. Most recently, our two founders, have been working with rescuing dogs from Mexico and the Asian dog meat trade as well as California kill shelters, Midwest puppy mill breeder releases and rehoming owner surrendered dogs in Washington and Oregon.
