My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Baby is a gentle and affectionate 2-year-old dog who was found as a stray on Frontier Rd. Since being taken into a foster home, she has shown herself to be an incredibly sweet and loving companion. Despite her rough start, Babe has adapted remarkably well to indoor living, displaying a calm demeanor that makes her a perfect fit for any family. Her foster parents describe her as a true sweetheart who gets along well with everyone. If you're looking to add a loyal and tender-hearted member to your household, Babe might just be the perfect match for you.

More about this shelter

A not-for-profit organization, Monroe County Friends of Animals help the County by raising funds to build a new facility for our animals. It is called the Eastbourne Animal Center and has now replaced the old Monroe County Animal Shelter. They provide volunteers, fundraising events, grant writing and more. There is always a need for more volunteers. With a small budget, donations are a welcome necessity. We have developed educational programs to promote spay/neuter and humane care of all animals.
