Here's what the humans have to say about me:
When asked to describe Teddy, our volunteers responded "he's perfect, no notes".....and while we might be a little biased, we can say Teddy is pretty darn great.
Teddy is a lover, a very sweet boy! He seems starved for attention but isn’t quite sure what to do with it when he gets it. You can tell he is young and eager to please, but occasionally he gets over excited. Teddy is very treat motivated but sometimes loses focus and needs direction. He'll need an adopter who understands his size and strength - even when he's full of energy!
Teddy has just started to understand toys and how much fun they can be! He was very proud of himself when he discovered the rope toy....spending the next few minutes prancing around showing everyone what he had found.
He has seen dogs through the fence and reacts loudly - lots of barking. We have not introduced him to dogs otherwise. Teddy does have itchy skin and will likely have lifelong allergy issues.
Due to his size and his very big bark, we will not adopt Teddy to a family with an apartment.
He's so easy to love and we know the perfect family is out there waiting!
*Adopters must live in Central Indiana, no more than 45 min from downtown Indy
*Please visit website for how to adopt:

*Please note that we do not operate on a first come first served basis.

Additional adoption info
If we all agree that a current Sketchy Mutt might be a good fit, we will bring him to your home and introduce him to your dogs, cats, and human family members. If all goes well and everyone (including your animals) is in agreement, you will start a one-week (minimum) trial adoption. We want you to live day in, day out with the dog to see what it would really be like to bring him into your family. If at any point during the trial adoption you decide its not a good match, the dog goes back to his foster home.
