Meet Squid, our adorable shy black kitten with the most endearing personality! At just 4 months old, this sweet little boy is still learning about the world and needs a special touch to help him come out of his shell. Squid is a bit reserved right now, but with a little patience and lots of love, he has the potential to blossom into a loving and confident companion.
Squid would thrive in a foster home where he can be surrounded by his siblings, or with an adopter who has the patience and time to help him learn what love is. He would be able to blossom and finally some into his own with love and dedication to provide him with the comfort and confidence he needs to explore and open up. While he might start off a bit shy, don't let that fool you-Squid has a heart full of potential and affection just waiting to be unlocked.
If you have the time and patience to help Squid grow into the wonderful kitty we know he can be, he's ready to find his perfect home. Your gentle care and encouragement will make all the difference for this sweet little boy. Could you be the one to help Squid's true colors shine?
Squid is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and healthy (fiv and felv negative)
If you are interested in adopting Squid please fill out adoption form on our website and our staff will review and reach out shortly (link to adoption form is below) https://www.meowsquadnyc.org/cat-adoption-form

Meowsquad is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization started in 2019. Our goal is to reduce the large stray and feral cat population of New York City by using Trap Neuter Return (TNR) techniques as well as working with the community to find forever homes for cats and kittens that can be resocialized. We also aim to relocate those who cannot be returned into safe, working environments.
