My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brandy is a wiggly waggly, happy girl and she'll be even happier when she gets her furever home! She is a 6 year old 60 pound American terrier pit that arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 8/15 as a stray. She is highly motivated by treats meaning she should be easy to train. At first she jumps up, but then she sits....even though she doesn't remain in that position for very long. She stays close to her human friend. She does have a mammary gland that has not receded, but it doesn't seem to bother her. She is very curious and investigates her surroundings. She's friendly, happy, eager, and affectionate. When I had her outside, she stood by the door wanting to go in. It's too hot for dogs to be out in this weather. She wants to be a mostly inside dog so she can hang out with her new family. She did her business when she got out into the yard. She walks OK on a leash. She wagged her tail when she went by other dogs in their kennels.
