Rex is a 12 yr old beautiful black Domestic Shorthair. He is definitely a big boy weighing in at 15lbs. He's looking for a new home with an experienced cat owner ( without another cat, he's a one cat kind of guy). He will eventually warm up to a dog but he will remind them, he is the boss. He can take a while to warm up to strangers and dogs but eventually becomes very attached and wants nothing more than to sit on your lap and get cheek rubs. He isn't a fan of loud gatherings of people as it interrupts his nap time. He hopes someone will give him a chance to just lay around and cuddle.

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please visit: https://fancycats.org/volunteer
