Rosie is a laid-back, nature-loving pup who makes the perfect travel companion! She traveled wonderfully to and from Eagle Creek, initially excited and exploring every window for all the sights. On the way back, after a fun hike, Rosie settled down for a nap, happily sticking her head out the window and enjoying a pup cup along the way. She was friendly and polite with everyone she met on the trail. A true nature enthusiast, Rosie was thrilled to be out on the hike. While she initially pulled on the leash in excitement, a little run in a field and some time to stop and smell the scents helped her settle into a perfect hiking pace. Rosie showed playful interest in other pups we encountered on the trail, though we didn`t allow direct interaction. She’s also a pro at the “sit” command and responds wonderfully to positive reinforcement, whether it’s praise or treats. Rosie would thrive in an active home where she can enjoy more outdoor adventures, and she’s sure to make a loving and loyal companion!
Adoptions are free and include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home. Adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before leaving with you. To view our current available animals, please visit: https://indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet.
