My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**In Foster** Meet Shorty, a sweet and affectionate senior gentleman who's still full of life! This lovable guy has a heart of gold and a passion for making new friends-whether they're people or other pups. Shorty's favorite activities include car rides and going on short, fun-filled adventures. While he might not be your jogging buddy, he's the ultimate couch companion. He loves to snuggle up and binge-watch your favorite shows (he's a big fan of Gilmore Girls and The Great British Bake-Off). Shorty is looking for a forever home where he can share his endless affection and charm. If you're searching for a loyal friend to bring warmth and joy to your life, Shorty is your boy! Shorty is currently in foster so let us know if you'd like to meet. His foster mom says "to meet him is to fall in love with him!"

Additional adoption info

Adopters must be at least 19 years old.

If you rent, you must have permission from your landlord and pet fees must be paid in advance.

If adopting into a family, we require all members of the family to be in agreement about adopting. For families that already include another dog, we typically require a meet and greet; this may be hosted on the GHHS property, or at the potential adopter's home.

Some animals may require a home inspection.

Verification of current pet(s) vaccine/vet records.
