Meet Zack: Your Future Best Friend!

Zack is a gentle and enthusiastic pup ready to find his forever home! He thrives on social interactions, especially with other dogs, and loves to initiate playtime with his furry friends. On a leash, he walks beautifully, making him the perfect companion for your daily adventures.

When we first rescued Zack, he was understandably timid, fearful of stairs, doors, and the outdoors. But with patience and love, he has blossomed into a curious and affectionate dog. His personality shines through as he explores the world around him, and he`s proven to be a fast learner who knows how to respond to his name and the command `come.`

Zack is well-mannered and eager to please, making him a joy to have around. If you`re looking for a loving companion who’s ready to share his excitement for life with you, Zack is your guy! The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home.

Tuesday - Saturday:10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Sunday: 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
