Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We have never met a mother cat that is as afraid as Silky. This poor young girl had a rough start to her short life; being a stray with babies. Silky is a gorgeous cat, she is a unique diluted Tortoiseshell, and she truly stands out. Silky is not one of those cats that will great you at the door and we believe she needs an owner who has experience with cats that have issues with trust. Silky was a very good mother, all of her babies were healthy and strong. She has so many amazing qualities, but her fear takes over and she shuts down. Silky really needs a home to help her decompress. Silky is an indoor cat, litter box trained, and ready for adoption! If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!

Our adoption process is made up of two parts. Upon a decision to adopt an animal we require an application for adoption that asks questions such as housing and veterinary references. We then check references and may require a home visit. Upon approval you will fill out a contract for adoption and pay the adoption fees. Adoption fees are based on age and vetting required.
