My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kaori is a bundle of joy with a heart full of love and energy. This super sweet, playful puppy is ready to find her forever home where she can spread happiness and snuggles. Kaori loves to explore and quickly bonds with anyone she meets, making her the perfect addition to any family. Kaori is crate trained at night and is progressing well with potty training. She's a smart cookie who learns quickly and is eager to please. With a bit more time and patience, she'll master all her house manners. Kaori gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is gentle and playful with children. She thrives in a loving environment where she can be an active part of the family. Kaori is searching for a forever home that can match her energy and enthusiasm. A family that enjoys playtime, walks, and lots of cuddles will be a perfect fit. If you're looking for a loving and lively companion to brighten your days, Kaori is the one for you.

Kaori is fixed, vaccinated, health checked, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200. If you'd like to meet Kaori, please fill out an application at http://caws.org/adoption-application! Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationSeptember 19, 2024, 7:20 am

Additional adoption info

Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

Go meet their pets

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. For additional information regarding how you, too, can become a foster, please see our fostering page located on our web site!

CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
