My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet little 8 lb miniature poodle girl is called Bonnie and her story is so very sad but happening way too many times these days. She is in a very small town of Tennessee and recently her mom died and the family wanted nothing to do with sweet Bonnie.  The family put her outside on a tie out and paid no attention to her. She was absolutely pitiful and a neighbor decided to intervene and ask the family if she could take her home. Critter Cavalry was called and we stepped in and had her life transformed and she soon was having a dental and blood work and shaved down from being matted and spayed and fully vetted as she should have been originally. This little girl is decided that she needs to be queen of whatever new home she goes to. She wants nothing more than to look lovingly at you all day long, sit on your lap, sit next to you to watch TV go for car rides and sleep in her princess bed. Little Miss Bonnie is housebroken and really does not need to be crated when you leave the house. She would prefer that you take her everywhere you go if you can. She would be great for an empty nester, a work from home person, a retired individual that's lonely or just a calm environment where she can be the only dog. She gets very jealous of the person she loves with other dogs around. We feel that the abandonment that she felt after her owner died is left her very clingy and possessive. But she will survive because we will find someone to love her unconditionally and treat her like the Princess she's always meant to be. If you would like to adopt this precious girl please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. Tell us where you live , City and state

PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?
