My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Sunshine Girl and I somehow found myself homeless and wandered up to a strange ladies house out in the country in Tennessee. I stayed on her front porch and never left and she would feed me and give me water. She couldn't allow me to come inside so I endured the 4th of July as best I could and all the rain storms that came and went. Critter Calvary is now taking care of me and making sure that I get spayed right now and up-to-date on all my shots I am a very lucky girl that I have a rescue that will be very careful to place me in the right family home. Having a wonderful foster is also a gift from heaven. I'm good with other dogs and even cats and I am needing to live with other dogs and older children if there are some in the family. I have mastered the inside manners that are required, as well as taking the appropriate bathroom breaks outside. I am about a year old and I weigh 50 lb. Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.

We are a full volunteer rescue organization. All of our animals are kept in loving foster homes, receiving the best care possible. A completed application must be submitted and approved to meet with our dogs/pups. A completed application helps us determine compatibility and also helps us to ensure a successful adoption.
