Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Little Fudge, with her gorgeous brindle fur, was found as a lost dog and has adjusted well to shelter life. Weighing in at just 37 lbs, Fudge is the ideal size-not too big, not too small. She's under 3 years old, she won't take up too much space but will fill your heart with joy 💗
Fudge knows some commands and is very potty trained. She is well-behaved on a leash and would thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard, providing her with the space to play and explore. She would also make a great walking or hiking partner.
Fudge prefers to be your one and only pet. She would okay with family with kids💖
We are open daily from 12-4:30. Come visit! If you have questions for us you can email or call us at tintonfallsahs@ahsppz.org or 732.922.0100

More about this shelter
The Associated Humane Societies rescues stray and homeless animals, both domestic and wildlife, providing quality care and sanctuary until loving homes can be found. As a community-based organization, we provide low-cost veterinary care and humane education to promote responsible pet guardianship throughout New Jersey.
For over a century we have offered a haven to abused and neglected animals. Founded in 1906, AHS is the largest animal sheltering system in New Jersey, operating three shelters located in Newark, Forked River, and Tinton Falls. Our Forked River facility also includes Popcorn Park. Established in 1977, Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused, or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds.
The Society is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization and we take pride in our devotion to the thousands of animals that come through our doors looking for a better life.
