My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Wilbur I am a happy go lucky boy who had a ruff start. I was found scared and abandoned, someone called me in as I was so scared I would bark at everyone at the fair grounds taking care of their horses. Yet I never bothered those big 4 legged dogs. They tried to catch me for a few days with no luck and me getting skinnier by the day. They decided to use a large live trap to catch me. Oh man they put this really good wet kinda food in there I was so hungry I let my guard down and went right in. But when that trapped closed I got so scared and tried to get out. Then some lady came up talking to me. I tried to scare her off by barking and growling but she told me everything was okay and gave me more of that good food. So I let her get me out of the trap and put me in her car. Well thats how I ended up here. So now that I think people are the coolest things ever I have been told that I can possibly find my own human to own and love. Are you my human.???

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The Rangely Animal Shelter works very hard to find homes for all adoptable animals. We require that the adoptive family includes the dog or cat as a highly regarded family member. We do have an adoption contract and there are certain qualifications that can be different with every dog or cat. All animals are spayed or neutered are micro-chipped and have all current vaccinations. We do require a 125.00 donation for adoptions that goes back into our spay and neuter program, and covers the registration for the micro-chip for the animal. This fee does not cover all of the costs but we would rather these animals find forever homes than charging a fee that no one can afford.
