My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kiwi is a sweet elderly cat who loves affection and gives sweet little kisses with her toothless mouth. She is a beautiful dilute tortie and her fur is incredibly soft. She has a mosquito allergy and needs to be kept indoors at all times. Kiwi also experiences constipation (ugh, getting older, amirite?) and requires daily Miralax in her food which she takes easily. Despite being 14+ years old, she has a lot of life left and love to give. Kiwi was rescued by her amazing foster family when her mom could no longer take care of her, and we are all hoping that we can find her the perfect forever retirement home.

Kiwi is affectionate, friendly, gentle, quiet, smart, and patient. We think she would do best as the only pet in the home.

If you are 65+, Kiwi qualifies for our Seniors for Seniors foster program. Ask us for more details!

Kiwi Linmore is around 14 years old and is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained.

Adoption fee: $0. One of volunteers loves Kiwi has decided to sponsor her adoption fee!

* You must be 18 or older to adopt. If you’re under 18, you must have a parent or guardian submit an application on your behalf.
* All cats must be kept indoors. In special circumstances, we may waive this requirement on a case-by-case basis.
* We do not adopt to any home that will declaw an animal. Declawing is cruel and unnecessary.
* All cats/kittens must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
* Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or into a home with another active cat or cat-friendly dog.
* Your adoption fee helps to cover a small part of the costs of veterinary care. However, we strongly recommend that you take your new kitty to your vet for a check-up shortly after adopting to establish a relationship and a lifetime of regular check-ups and care.
